Unser Ziel war Noosa Marina, wo gerade die Sunday Markets mit toller Livemusik stattfanden. Aber am tollsten war der Pelikan, den wir schon im Vorbeifahren entdeckten, wie er bei einem Angler am Flussufer wartete und auf einen Fisch hoffte. Auch als wir endlich dorthin gelaufen sind, stand er noch da und liess sich mit uns fotografieren:
Nach 3 Tagen sind wir dann weiter nach Brisbane gefahren. Unser Hostel, das Kookaburra Inn, lag direkt noerdlich der Innenstadt, so dass wir immer schnell zu Fuss zur City und zur Riverside laufen konnten. Unser Lieblingsplatz war der Eagle Street Pier. Eine Promenade am Brisbane River mit vielen Restaurants, dem Faehranleger und dem Blick auf die Story Bridge. Hier haben wir die ein oder andere Pause zum Fruehstueck, Abendessen oder fuer einen Drink zwischendurch eingelegt ;) Natuerlich sind wir auch mit dem CityCat den Brisbane River rauf und runter gefahren und haben uns an South Banks "City Beach" gesonnt.
Ausserdem haben wir einen tollen Tagesausflug nach Moreton Island gemacht. Erstmal hiess es ne gute Stunde mit der Faehre fahren und dann wurden wir am Strand des Tangalooma Resorts rausgelassen. Den ganzen Tag sind wir am weissen Sandstrand und hin zu den Schiffswracks spazieren gegangen, waren im Meer baden, haben uns auf den Liegen am Pool gesonnt und gemuetlich im Cafe mit Blick auf Palmen, Meer und Strand gesessen. ![]()
